About Aerie Labs
We build for the people doing the work.
Most enterprise software is designed for the people who buy it — not the people who use it every day. We think that's backwards.
Where we started
Aerie Labs was founded in 2021 by a team that had spent years building software for large organizations — and kept running into the same problem. The people with the most to gain from better tools were the last ones consulted when those tools were designed.
We started with a simple question: what would software look like if frontline workers were the primary user, not an afterthought? The answer turned out to be very different from what most enterprise vendors were building.
Three years and three products later, we're still asking that question with every feature we ship.
What we believe
Workers first
Every product decision starts with the person doing the job, not the person managing it.
Honest outcomes
We publish real numbers from real deployments. No projections, no cherry-picked pilots.
Simple by default
If a worker needs training to use it, we haven't done our job yet.
Small and focused
We'd rather build three tools that work exceptionally well than ten that work adequately.
The team
Maya Osei
Co-founder & CEO
Previously led product at two workforce-tech companies. Spent three years before that working in distribution operations.
Daniel Reyes
Co-founder & CTO
Built backend infrastructure at scale for 10 years before deciding the most interesting problems were in the unsexy parts of enterprise software.
Priya Nair
Head of Product
Obsessive about the gap between what software promises and what workers actually experience. Former UX researcher.
James Whitfield
Head of Customer Success
Spent 8 years on the operations side before joining the software world. Knows what it actually takes to roll out a new tool to a skeptical workforce.
